Any institution can use LITNET FEDI service if all requirements below are met:
- Institution possess digital identity management system and single sign on system
- Institution has LITNET service agreement
- Technical requirements for the IDP and SP are met
In order to start using LITNET FEDI service institution must apply to the LITNET Council Chairman.
- Institution has to sign an LITNET service agreement either to amend the existing agreement.
- Institution has to assign a person responsible for metadata administration.
- Responsible administror registers, makes changes to or deletes metadata, ensures metadata correctness
